We show courtesy willingly and automaticlly to strangers but very little courtesy to people with whom we have to work day in and day out . we often interrupt the comversation of people who work for us. We interrupt them or half-listen to them . We often forget their names. We sometimes treat the people who work for us like furniture, but people appreciate courtesy from the boss, and they are quick to notice the lack of it too.
